In the beginning, there was water and Augusto Pedrazzini’s pioneering spirit. In 1906, Augusto Pedrazzini emigrated from Italy to the shores of Lake Zurich. With passion and talent, he crafted fishing boats and sailboats in his yard. His son Ferruccio developed the same affinity for boatbuilding and studied nautical science and design. It was he who in the 1950s built the Capri Super Deluxe, the boat that still inspires the design of contemporary runabouts. Today, Claudio Pedrazzini is at the helm of the company. His ambition is to safeguard and evolve the family tradition, just as his forbears did.
